2008
In May, 2008 I was part of a passionately talented cast and crew for The Gallery Players production of “MAN OF LA MANCHA” in which I played Alonso Quijana’s cunning neice, “Antonia”.
The production recieved rave reviews, and we all had a profoundly touching theatrical experience that will stay with us forever.
Please read some of reviews I recieved from both my Cabaret and Man of La Mancha.
SHOOTING MY ARROW
“Singer, songwriter, guitarist, actress and cruise-ship entertainer, Dawn Derow brought her diverse talents together in an energy-filled program– her cabaret debut – at The Duplex this winter.”

Talking about “Shooting My Arrow”
“I had no idea of the scope of your talent –singer, songwriter, guitarist, story teller, world traveler!.. and per one photo in your press kit, a model for working out!”
Peter Haas of Cabaret Scenes email
“Behind her breathy intonation was a trained instrument, lending her performance a kind of relaxed, confident quality and bringing a personalized spin to all the songs in the line up.”

MAN OF LA MANCHA
“As members of the household, which Alonso Quijana leaves behind, when he sets out to tilt at windmills as Don Quixote, sweet-voiced Dawn Derow, as his niece and heir, Antonia, and insist, hypocritically, “I’m Only Thinking of Him.”

“Of the strong ensemble, some who stood out for me was Dawn Derow, especially in the three-part number, “I’m Only Thinking of Him.”
